Introducing Our New Board Member, Orv

Welcome Orv Kimbrough to the NuSource Board of Directors! Orv’s considerable experience is exceptional, and more so is how he brings his passion for helping people to everything he does.

Meet Orvin Kimbrough, a product of the St. Louis Public Schools and the State of Missouri foster care system. He serves as Chairman and CEO of Midwest BankCentre, where he leads the Bank and its holding company to nurture shareholder, customer, and community value.

Before joining Midwest BankCentre, Orv worked with a number of not-for-profits including serving as the President and CEO of United Way of Greater St. Louis, one of the top United Way affiliates in the world.

He is a frequent speaker and lecturer with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from the University of Missouri - Columbia, a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and a Master’s of Arts in Theology from Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis.

Orv is an adjunct instructor at Washington University in St. Louis teaching effective team leadership. He serves on the board of Washington University’s Olin Business School – Bauer Leadership Center, ABA (American Bankers Association) Community Bankers Council, NuSource Financial, Core & Main, a leading U.S. distributor of water, sewer, and fire protection products and United Way of America among others.
